What This Extension Does

Clean Link Copier strips tracking parameters (UTM, fbclid, gclid, etc.) from URLs when you copy them. Everything happens locally in your browser.

Data Collection

This extension collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information collected
• No browsing history tracked
• No analytics or telemetry
• No cookies set
• No data sent to any server
• No accounts or sign-ups required

How It Works

When you click "Copy Clean Link" or use the right-click menu, the extension parses the URL locally, removes known tracking parameters, and copies the clean URL to your clipboard. No data leaves your browser.

Permissions Explained

• activeTab — reads the current tab's URL to clean it
• contextMenus — adds "Copy Clean Link" to the right-click menu

Advertising

The extension popup contains a small, non-personalized ad for Bear Grips products. No tracking, no cookies, no ad networks — just a static text link.

Third-Party Services

None. This extension does not connect to any external service.
