Hide YouTube Shorts removes Shorts content from the YouTube interface using CSS injection. It runs entirely in your browser.

How It Works

The extension injects CSS rules into YouTube pages to hide Shorts-related elements. Your on/off preference is stored locally using Chrome's storage API. Nothing leaves your browser.

Permissions Explained

• storage — saves your on/off toggle preference locally
• activeTab — allows toggling Shorts visibility on the current YouTube tab
• Content script on youtube.com — injects the CSS that hides Shorts elements

Advertising

The extension popup contains a small, non-personalized ad for Bear Grips products. No tracking, no cookies, no ad networks — just a static text link.
