Right-Click Unblock — Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 20, 2026
Overview
Right-Click Unblock is a Chrome extension that re-enables right-click, text selection, and copy functionality on websites that block them. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data.
- No accounts or sign-ups required
- No analytics or tracking scripts
- No cookies
- No data sent to external servers
- No browsing history collected
- No page content is read or transmitted — only event handlers and CSS are modified
How It Works
- Event handler removal: Removes JavaScript event listeners that block right-click, text selection, and copy actions.
- CSS override: Injects a small CSS rule to override "user-select: none" styling.
- Attribute cleanup: Removes inline oncontextmenu/onselectstart attributes from page elements.
- On-demand only: The unblock script runs only when you click the button — not automatically on every page.
Permissions
- storage: Reserved for future preference storage.
- activeTab: Required to inject the unblock script into the current tab when you click the button.
- scripting: Required to execute the unblock script in the page context.
Advertising
Right-Click Unblock displays non-personalized promotional links in the popup. These are static links — not targeted based on browsing history or personal data.

This extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or data collection services.
Data Storage
The extension does not store any data.
Children's Privacy
This extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
