Overview

Smart Form Drafter is a Chrome extension that uses on-device AI (Gemini Nano) to draft replies in text fields. Right-click any text input and AI generates a response in your chosen tone. All processing happens entirely on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. All AI processing happens on your device using Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano model.

• No text field content is uploaded anywhere
• No browsing history collected
• AI runs 100% on-device — no cloud API calls

How It Works

• Context menu: Right-clicking a text field shows a "Draft Reply with AI" menu with tone options.
• Text field access: The extension reads the current content of the text field you right-clicked to provide context for the AI draft.
• On-device AI: Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano model generates the reply locally. No data leaves your device.
• Insertion: The AI-generated text is inserted directly into the text field.

Permissions

• activeTab: Required to access the text field content on the current page for AI drafting.
• contextMenus: Adds the "Draft Reply with AI" option to the right-click menu on text fields.
• storage: Reserved for future preference storage (e.g., default tone).

Advertising

Smart Form Drafter displays non-personalized promotional links in the popup. These are static links — not targeted based on your text field content, browsing history, or personal data.

Third-Party Services

Smart Form Drafter does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or data collection services.

Data Storage

The extension does not store any text you draft or any AI responses. All data is processed in-memory and exists only during the generation process.

Children's Privacy

Smart Form Drafter does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
